Every death by suicide represents the loss of an individual life – a person who once had hopes and dreams beyond suicide – that they could not find sufficient peace and hope in this life is a tragedy.
Addressing the male suicide crisis is a matter of urgent, collective responsibility.
Male suicide is not inevitable. It is shaped by social conditions, service responses, relationships, and opportunity. With better understanding comes the possibility of better prevention.
This work is focused on building that understanding – and turning it into meaningful change. Your support enables:
- Large-scale research into male suicide risk and recovery
- Practical, evidence-based tools and training for professionals
- The design of services that better meet the needs of men in suicidal crisis
- The translation of research into accessible public resources
We are currently laying the foundations for long-term, systemic change in how men in suicidal crisis are understood and supported. If you would be interested in a conversation about supporting this work at a strategic, high-impact level, I would be very glad to speak with you.
