I am a psychological researcher specialising in male suicide risk, recovery, and prevention.
I am a Research Fellow at the University of Glasgow’s Suicidal Behaviour Research Laboratory and serve on the Advisory Council for the Centre for Policy Research on Men and Boys.
My work sits at the intersection of rigorous academic research, lived experience, and real-world impact. I have developed a strong track record of translating research into practice – leading large-scale knowledge-sharing events across the UK, developing widely accessed public and professional resources, delivering training and webinars to diverse audiences, and contributing to national discourse through media and podcast engagement.
I am currently leading the establishment of the Centre for Male Suicide Research – a dedicated centre focused exclusively on male suicide. The Centre is designed to scale high-quality research and strengthen professional responses to men in suicidal crisis, with the aim of delivering measurable change in prevention, policy, and practice.
If you would be interested in a conversation about supporting this work at a strategic, high-impact level, I would love to speak with you.
